NGC 5K and Fun Fitness 2012
On the morning of Saturday 2nd June the school community was up at the crack of dawn to participate in the Annual 5K and Fun Fitness. Students, their relatives and staff were out for a morning of fun filled activities which underscore the value of healthy practices for healthy lifestyles.
NorthGate College Team WordsWorth Competition!
In April 2012, the NGC English Department threw out yet another challenge to the students. Team WordsWorth brought together groups of competitors from the schools’ sports teams.
NorthGate College at the 2012 Secondary Schools Dance Festival
This year’s preliminary round of the Secondary Schools’ Annual Dance Festival saw two of our four entries qualifying for the final round of the competition. Lara Santos and Ariel Pollard’s interpretation of “Apologise” in the modern dance genre, and our lovely Bele Dancers qualified for the finals.
Geography students observe river features at Rio Seco
Students of the form 4 geography class hiked to Rio Seco waterfall near Salybia, which is on the eastern end of Trinidad. They were accompanied by their geography teacher Mrs. Allyson Mills. The aim of the trip was to observe the features of a river which related to their course of study.
